Monterey County is a treasure trove for antique and art collectors. Although Carmel proper holds perhaps the highest per capita collection of art galleries in the world, you’ll find exceptional art throughout the county. In Pacific Grove, visit Hauk Fine Arts, to view an important collection of early & contemporary California Art. This area is fast becoming an artists’ haven.

You’ll find The Central Coast’s largest antique collective, Cannery Row Antique Mall, just above Cannery Row, and collectors seek out the Mark Reuben Gallery (on Cannery Row) to buy vintage photography.

Old Town Salinas is rich in antique stops housed in historic buildings. You must visit Tito’s Tiques and Cottage Belle for unique recreated antique home decor and gifts.
